Homemade White Bread

White Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cup Flour or flour ¾ cup and wheat flour ¾ cup
  • 1 tbs Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Eka powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 ½ tsp Yeast
  • 140 ml Luke warm water approximately

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl to form a dough.
  • Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Gently punch down the dough and transfer it to a greased bread pan.
  • Cover and let it rise again in the pan for another hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F).
  • Bake the bread for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
