
White Bread
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup Flour or flour ¾ cup and wheat flour ¾ cup
- 1 tbs Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Eka powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 ½ tsp Yeast
- 140 ml Luke warm water approximately
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl to form a dough.
- Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Gently punch down the dough and transfer it to a greased bread pan.
- Cover and let it rise again in the pan for another hour.
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F).
- Bake the bread for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
