Masala Chai

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • – 2 tsp black tea leaves
  • – 1 cup milk
  • – 2 cardamom pods crushed
  • – 1 small cinnamon stick
  • – 1-inch ginger piece grated
  • – 2 tsp sugar or to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring water, cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger to a boil.
  • Add tea leaves and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle boil again.
  • Add sugar and stir.
  • Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.

Notes

You can adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing ginger and cardamom.
