Masala Chai
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- – 2 tsp black tea leaves
- – 1 cup milk
- – 2 cardamom pods crushed
- – 1 small cinnamon stick
- – 1-inch ginger piece grated
- – 2 tsp sugar or to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water, cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger to a boil.
- Add tea leaves and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle boil again.
- Add sugar and stir.
- Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
Notes
You can adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing ginger and cardamom.
