water
- 2 tsp black tea leaves
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cardamom pods
crushed
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1-inch ginger piece
grated
- 2 tsp sugar
or to taste
Instructions
In a saucepan, bring water, cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger to a boil.
Add tea leaves and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle boil again.
Add sugar and stir.
Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
Notes
You can adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing ginger and cardamom.
