Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup milk
  • tsp loose black tea or 1 tea bag
  • 1 –2 tsp sugar to taste
  • 1 small piece of crushed cardamom optional

Instructions
 

  • Boil water with tea leaves and cardamom for 1–2 minutes.
  • Add milk and bring to a strong boil. Let it simmer for 3–5 minutes until it turns rich and brownish-golden.
  • Add sugar and stir well.
  • Strain and serve hot — ideally with rusk, biscuits, or in your favorite mug.
