In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, butter, yeast, and beaten egg.
Knead the mixture for about 6 minutes until a smooth dough forms.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 2 equal round balls and place them on a greased or lined baking tray.
Let the shaped dough rise again for 1 hour.
Brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (374°F) for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and brush again with melted butter while still hot.
Let the buns cool completely before slicing.
